For the Motorola company the ignoring of photographic possibilities of telephones became some kind of distinguishing mark not of the best sense. After missing the origin of this segment of market, company ignored it for a long time, the majority of the solutions lagged behind the market by several years, it did not appear attractive to buyers. For the correction of situation it was necessary to create something not simply competitory, but exceeding other solutions.

Telephone initially is produced in one color solution - dark gray, graphite. Color is pleasant as the used materials are. On the front panel we see the thick plastic, which covers screen, it is soiled, but the tracks of mud are not visible. Above the screen there is a large cut for the vocal dynamics, it is filled by dust sometimes, but also it is not so noticeable – it is design feature. Here the indicators of charging, Bluetooth are located, but they are not visible, until they work.

USB. In the telephone the microUSB joint adapts. Producer declares that the apparatus supports the standard USB High Speed 2.0, really, in the USB Mass Storage or MTP- connection regime the miniUSB- cable shows the average speed of transmission of 1600-1850 Kb/s given at the level. The work of telephone functions is blocked with the USB- connection in two enumerated regimes, you work only with PK, although it is possible to assume calls, radio-part is not disconnected.

There are different variations of connection to PK: Picture Transfer, Media Sync, Memory Card, Tools, Modem&Tools, USB Printing, Modem.
The pleasant moments include valuable support of Windows Media Player 11, it is possible to create your own playlists on the computer and then to move them to the telephone. In the future the support of this player will become standard in all products from Motorola.

WiFi. In the division of tuning it is possible to establish your own WiFi networks, to preserve keys and to establish the regime of connection. The 802.11 b/g protocol is supported, there are no problems with connection and detection of networks. It is possible to select country in the tuning, depending on this the power of signal is advanced. Everything works as hours, there are no problems. In tuning of the transmission of data it is possible to advance regime - the interrogation at first of WiFi- networks and only then the connection through the honeycomb network.

There is 512 mb. of the built-in memory in the telephone, to user about 350 mb. is accessible originally. The memory card is visible separately, simultaneous access to the files of two types of memory is not provided. There is a file manager, which makes it possible to copy files both from the card, and on it. Unfortunately, the replacement of the memory cards in “hot regime” is impossible, it is necessary to remove storage battery. The volume of working storage is equal to 32 mb., the frequency of processor - 500 MHz.

Motorola tried to consider others experience and to make their solution better. In many respects it was possible, to take in the calculation at least the physical arrangement of objective and xenon flash. The module of camera is carried out into the upper part of the telephone, and we photograph in the horizontal position. Objective is complicated to be covered by hand, just as flash. Another plus in the arrangement of flash is the effect “red eyes”absence, smaller influence on the photographs of people. Completely get rid of this effect is complicated, but in comparison with Nokia N82 it is not so strongly expressed. Trifle, but it is pleasant.
